What to Pack for Your Ski Trip

Tis the season of cozy, holidays and all the ski weekends with friends.

Living in San Diego, I personally love going on Ski Trips because it allows me to pack my winter clothes and get some brisk fresh air on my face – love love love.

Let’s dive into what to pack for your upcoming ski trip with family or friends because we know packing for a ski trip can be overwhelming and we want to make it easier.

What to Pack for Your Ski Trip

Packing for your ski trip is all about layers no matter where you go because the temps can fluctuate so much. I remember one of my recent trips to Breckenridge, Colorado one morning was a blue bird morning, birds chirping, sun shining and 30 degrees and then the next morning was 9 degrees, cloudy and just COLD. We need to be prepared for anything on our upcoming ski trips!

So layers, layers, layers…

Base Layer – this one is so cute.

And if you’re looking for a more affordable base layer – this one is insanely popular.

Now, the important stuff that people can actually see when you’re at the mountain!

Snowpants

These are my absolute favorite snow pants and they come in so many colors which is the best part. They’re also not expensive so you can truly buy a few pairs!

Also, if you’re more of a bib girl, the same brand above came out with these overall snow pants and I’m thinking of buying these for this season as well!

Ski Jackets

I kind of love how the 70’s/80’s/90’s styles are coming back so if you’re feeling fun and ready to party down the slopes – this is a pretty cool ski suit.

A more practical Ski/Snowboard jacket is this one. It comes in SO many different colors.

Hats

Hat’s are such great accessories because they’re an easy way to change your outfit. They’re also one of the cheaper skiing accessories so instead of buying a few different jackets (that are expenisive) you can buy different hats.

These are my absolute favorite winter hats. They just fit my head well and there are SO MANY COLORS to choose from. Clearly I like being able to choose from a lot of different colors to spruce up my outfits!

Gloves

These are actually perfect. I love them because they’re gloves but also mittens which keeps your hands extra warm.

Boots

These boots are super cute and I personally love how tall they are so the snow doesn’t get into your boots – hate that.

Socks

These socks are a LITERAL MUST when you’re going anywhere chilly. I even wear them around my house in the winter for extra coziness. I always wear these socks in my snowboard boot and you can even bring an extra pair to the mountain to change out mid-day if you want to!

Ski Socks

I hope you found this post helpful when it comes to what to pack for your ski trip. Packing for a ski trip doesn’t need to be overwhelming if you think layers and warmth first and then you can add accessories like those hats and sunglasses to change it up!

Let me know where your next ski trip is in the comments! Would love to hear what you used this packing list for!
