5 USA Destinations to Add to Your Bucketlist in 2024

There are so many United States destinations that should be added to your bucket list. 2024 is going to be the year of adventure, travel and exploration for you, I can feel it.

Sometimes it seems like US travel gets overlooked by international travel, but I have to say we have SO MUCH to explore in our own backyard.

If you’re an adventure lover, this post was made to inspire and spark your next travel idea!

Glacier National Park

This has remained top on my list of Favorite National Parks since 2016 which is saying a lot. I have now been to 22 National Parks and Glacier National Park still remains my favorite.

From jagged peaks, glaciers to alpine lakes, Glacier National Park truly has it all.

I took this trip with two girlfriends and we did a 10 day camping adventure. You can read more about my Glacier National Park Itinerary here.

Kauai, Hawaii

If you get me talking about Kauai, I will not stop. Kauai is known for it’s lush greenery, jagged peaks, relaxing resorts and all time adventure hikes that will have you shaking in your boots but totally worth the views.

Kauai hawaii has something for everyone. You can relax at one of the beachside resorts, snag an Air BnB in the hills all while sipping your Mai Tais and/or getting up at 4 am to make it to a sunrise hike.

Utah

Utah made the top 5 destinations to visit in the US because of the stunning landscapes and just overall proximity of things to do.

Utah is home to 5 of the best National Parks, collectively known as The Big 5 National Parks which are all within about a 3 hour drive from each other. The proximity of The Big 5 parks is what brings Utah to the top of our list.

California

California

California had to make this list as well because it has the moutains and the ocean. You can head to any of the 5 national parks in California or hit the magestic beaches all up and down the coastline. You’ll be able to find a lot of coastline cliffs meeting the ocean which makes for quite the picture.

Washington

Washington State has 3 of the most majestic national parks all within a 2.5 hour drive from the Seattle, Washington airport. Do you know how convenient that is? I recently went up there to visit family and had NO idea we were so close to everything.

When you’re in Washington, make sure to hit at least ONE of the national parks. Between Mount Rainier National Park, North Cascades National Park and Olympic National Park, you will not go wrong. They are all bucket list contenders.

I will compile a list of the hikes I did in Washington and leave it here once I finish it!

I hope you found this post as some sort of inspiration when it comes to choosing your next travel destination. Let me know where you choose to go!
