The Best Lake Tahoe Bachelorette Itinerary
So it’s time to start planning your Lake Tahoe bachelorette party, and you want to pick the PERFECT spot to have the most memorable weekend with your friends. If you love the outdoors and being surrounded by nature, Lake Tahoe is the ABSOLUTE perfect place to have your bachelorette party. Trust me when I say, your bachelorette party at Lake Tahoe will be talked about forever.
Lake Tahoe Bachelorette parties are so much fun because you can take so many different angles and plan all the activities. From rugged camping or hiking to luxe wine cruises, we did it all on my bachelorette and I can nottttttt wait to share this dream itinerary with you.
How to get to Lake Tahoe
When you fly to Lake Tahoe, you’ll be flying into Reno airport which is a good 30 minutes to 1 hour drive from where you will be staying. Half of my girls were in a rental car and the other half Ubered together to split the costs. If you’re going to want a car to drive to hike trailheads or anything like that, I would recommend renting a car but Ubering was also very easy. I would DEFINITELY recommend planning your Uber rides around when the other girls get in because they can be pricey depending on how far you are going.
Where to Stay
Let’s address the largest question when thinking about where to stay for your Lake Tahoe Bachelorette. We chose South Lake Tahoe for my bachelorette because there seemed to be more to do down there between wine tastings, hikes, casinos, bars, beaches etc.. South Lake Tahoe was the winner.
I knew I wanted to picturesque log cabin vibes for my bachelorette with an outdoor area and deck to hang out on and drink morning coffee.
I’m working on a blog post with the best Lake Tahoe Bachelorette Air bnb’s so stay tuned! 🙂
What to Pack / What to Wear for the Lake Tahoe Bachelorette
When you’re packing for a bachelorette in Lake Tahoe, you can go in so many different directions. The days can be gorgeous, warm and sunny but the nights are chilly – so you’ll want to bring many different options and bring layers for night time. And you also want the house DECKED OUT for when the bride shows up. These are all the Lake Tahoe Bachelorette items you’ll need in your house to help have the best bachelorette!

Weekend Itinerary
I want to preface this by saying my bachelorette was kind of *long because the flight times to get in were very weird. So all the girls were at the Lake Tahoe Bachelorette house by 9:30 am on Thursday.
Thursday:
Morning – we popped champagne, explored the house, went out for breakfast then came back to the house, put on suits and hit a near by beach, Camp Richardson.
Evening – We decided to make tacos and margs at the house that night to keep it easy. We sipped Margaritas, went in the hot tub and just chatted. It was a great opening night
Friday:
Morning – We set off on an early morning hike to Eagle Falls trailhead. We did Eagle Falls to Eagle Lake Trailhead which brought us to a BEAUTIFUL lake and honestly, I could have spent hours there. If you go in the summer, be sure to wear a bathing suit under your clothes in case you’re tempted to jump in the crystal clear alpine lake.
Afternoon – After our hike, we came back to the house, had some mimosas, put our suits on and got ready to head to The Beacon which is a beach/ beach club/ restaurant. I use all those words interchangeably because it’s not like a “clubby” beach club like when you think of The Hamptons, but it’s a very chill beach bar/ beach club where you can order food and drinks and then bring them back to your towels and lounge on the beach – super chill.
Evening – This might have been one of the most memorable parts of the trip for me, it was the sunset wine tasting cruise with Tahoe Tastings. All us girls got dressed up and had a lovely wine tasting on the water.
After several glasses of wine, definitely feeling very tipsy we headed to Whiskey Dicks which was like the only bar in South Lake Tahoe (at least that we found – let me know of other bars you know of haha) where we played pool, danced around and basically ran the Juke Box machine all night long.
We capped our night with bagel bites at the house, dancing on tables to The Lizzie Mcguire movie soundtrack (lol).
Saturday
Morning
We had 9:30 am yoga in the backyard. My Maid of Honor arranged for the yoga instructor to come over and give us lessons at our air bnb which was amazing.
Afternoon
We rented a boat with a captain which was also a highlight of this trip. Â It was BYOB and we cruised on the BLUEST water I have ever seen for the entire afternoon. The boat parked for a few hours while we got to swim and float around on tubes. Towards the end, one of my friends and I actually went tubing which was soooooo much fun and I don’t feel like I have laughed that hard in a very long time. it was so much fun.
Evening
We had an 8:15 dinner reservation at The Landing and then could hit the bars after. We drank a ton at the restaurant so kind of went home and chilled for the rest of the night after this but it was seriously so much fun.
A Lake Tahoe Bachelorette is perfect for the girl who loves being outside and maybe a little bit adventurous. There is truly something at Lake Tahoe for everyone, from super boujee to laid back and rugged.
I hope this helps you plan your Lake Tahoe Bachelorette! If you use any of these recommendations, please let me know – I’d love to hear!
Happy Bachelorette!!!
