San Diego Restaurants with The Best View

5. Georges on The Cove, La Jolla

Nestled right on the edge of the beautiful La Jolla coastline, George’s on the Cove is like a laid-back foodie paradise. Imagine this place as a three-story haven where good food meets killer ocean views. Head up to The Terrace for a fancy outdoor experience, where you can dig into some seriously delicious dishes made with local goodies while soaking in those breathtaking Pacific views. If you’re more in the mood for a chill vibe, The Ocean Terrace is your spot, serving up cool drinks and coastal bites with a side of casual charm. And if you’re feeling a bit fancy, dive into George’s dining room, where Executive Chef Jonathan Bautista whips up a menu filled with modern American delights that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance. Tucked away in the heart of La Jolla, The Marine Room is like that cool friend’s beachfront house where you can’t decide what’s more impressive—the food or the view. This spot is all about beachside vibes and treating your taste buds to a culinary adventure. 3. The Holding Company, Ocean Beach

The Holding Company is one of my absolute favorites. It is a three story bar with different environments to choose to sit in. HOWEVER, I would recommend always sitting on the rooftop.

If you’re heading to The Holding Company to grab drinks or a bite to eat for sunset, which I would recommend, you’ll want to plan to get there 30-45 minutes before sunset because it gets crowded and you’ll want to ensure you can grab a table to enjoy the sunset views.

2. Wonderland Pub, Ocean Beach

This is the first restaurant I fell in love with in San Diego. Wonderland Pub located in Ocean Beach is an oceanfront restaurant with windows that open so you can enjoy the sea breeze.

What is super unique about Wonderland Pub that I love is that every single night – no matter the day, they give a sunset toast and spread positivity.

Wonderland Pub is a very laid back bar where you can wear athleisure or dress up if you so feel like it, but it is a sports bar where you can enjoy a stunning sunset at night or just admire the beach and people watch during the day.

Wonderland Pub is an absolute must restaurant when visiting San Diego.

1. Mr. A’s, Bankers Hill

Mr. A’s the famous restaurant located in Bankers Hill overlooking downtown San Diego and overlooking the water.

This place isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an entire vibe. Picture yourself sipping on craft cocktails and digging into mouthwatering dishes with the city lights as your backdrop. It’s all about that relaxed elegance here. The panoramic views are killer, and the food,  is next-level delicious. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just looking for a laid-back spot to enjoy San Diego’s charm, Mr. A’s is the place to be. So, if you’re into casually sophisticated vibes and skyline sunsets, consider Mr. A’s your go-to hangout for a good time and even better eats.
