If you and your loved one are looking for the most romantic trip in Costa Rica, I highly recommend staying at Vista Celestial. Vista Celestial has the most unique villas I have ever seen and or stayed at. I don’t think I could have dreamed up a more beautiful villa.
Vista’s villas were spacious and overlooking BOTH the rainforest and the ocean (seriously, how is this even possible). We later found out this spot was chosen because the two owners (husband and wife) were looking at a map of Costa Rica and circled where the ocean met the rainforest. They then said “we will live here one day”…and well, they did.
Each villa had it’s own hot tub overlooking the rainforest with an outdoor shower right next to it. Now for those of you who follow me on Instagram, you know that I am slightly obsessed with outdoor showers. I would literally shower while staring at the vast forest and ocean right in front of me – can you say AMAZING! It felt so freeing and liberating!
Apart from the villas I was obsessed with, Vista Celestial was all farm to table. Every single meal they prepared was picked from their farm (or a farm near by) and was cooked and served on a platter. Each meal, whether it was breakfast, lunch, dinner, even desert was GORGEOUS. The details were well thought out and the service and staff was most complimentary to our meals.
Basically, I was ready to move in and never wanted to leave.
So if you’re looking for a romantic getaway I would recommend staying at my home away from home, Vista Celestial in Costa Rica.
They will also help arrange transportation as it is pretty far from the airports 🙂
