Define Your Vision
Step 1: Define Your Vision and Goals Before diving into the creative process, take some time to reflect on your dreams and goals. What do you want to achieve in the next month, year, or even decade? Be specific, and consider various aspects of your life, such as career, relationships, health, and personal development. I like to write out these categories on a piece of paper and then elaborate on each. This helps me understand what I want within each different area of my life.

Step 2: Create a Pinterest Board Start by creating a new board on Pinterest dedicated to your vision board for this year. This board will serve as a curated collection of images, quotes, and ideas that align with your goals and aspirations. As you browse through Pinterest, save pins that resonate with you and reflect your vision for the future.
Gather Inspirational and Aspirational Content
Step 3: Gather Inspirational Content Search for images, quotes, and other inspirational content that represents your vision. Pinterest offers an array of categories, making it easy to find content related to your specific goals. Whether it’s a dream vacation, a career milestone, or a personal mantra, pin content that sparks excitement and motivation for your future self, be sure to add it to your Pinterest Vision Board.
Create on Canva
Step 4: Transfer Your Vision to Canva. Now that your Pinterest board is created with inspiration for your vision, it’s time to bring it to life using Canva. Create a new design in Canva and select the appropriate dimensions for your vision board – commonly, a square or vertical layout works best.
Design your Vision Board
Step 5: Design Your Vision Board Utilize Canva’s design tools to arrange the content from your Pinterest board onto your digital vision board. Add background elements, text, and symbols to enhance the visual appeal. Canva is great for adding personalizations to your vision board and seeing everything on one page – this is why I’d recommend moving your Pinterest board to canva.
Affirmations and Text (optional)
Step 6: Incorporate Affirmations and Text Enhance the power of your vision board by incorporating affirmations and text that reinforce your goals. Use Canva’s text tools to add motivational quotes, affirmations, or even specific details about your aspirations. This personal touch adds depth and clarity to your vision.
Save your Vision board
Step 7: Save and Share Your Vision Board. Once you’re satisfied with your digital vision board, save it in a high-resolution format. Share your creation on social media, set it as your desktop wallpaper, or print it out to keep it in a prominent place as a daily reminder of your goals. Whatever feels best but also keep it somewhere you can come back to every day to ensure you’re on track and each day is a step in the right direction to your goals.
I hope you enjoyed this 7 step process to create your Vision board. I personally love creating vision boards and there is a certain area of my life that I really want to focus on this year so hopefully that pans out. I tend to always manifest my travel desires, so let’s make this year the best one yet!
