Sedona Hikes
Bear Mountain Trail (*my favorite + less known) – hike is HARD. 4.9 miles with 2,024 elevation gain. We hiked in September and decided to start before sunrise for heat reasons. It’s best to be aware when you’re hiking and be aware of the weather so you are prepared. Bring a ton of water and sunscreen. I had to make a few stops along the way up because you’re gaining so much elevation in a short time.
Cathedral Rock Trail – Rated as hard and is 1.2 miles with 741 elevation gain.
Devils Bridge Trail – Rated ‘moderate’ and is 3.9 miles. Ok this is definitely an ~Instagram location~ and I thought it was insanely overrated and there were no views along the trail really, however, going out onto the bridge was actually pretty cool so if you do this trail I would recommend walking out onto the bridge.
