Hotel: Agusto Beach (Yurt Style)
Agusto Beach is for those who enjoy simple living and travel lightly. A
Drinking : Coco Loco
Hotel: Playa Esperanza Beach Club
Esperanza Beach Club has the cutest accommodations! The cement foundation is topped off with a straw roof and mesh netting to cover any of the openings so bugs don’t come in.
Their tiki bar on the beach serves food and beverages right to your beach beds. I would recommend going to Playa Esperanza during high seaason.
Chichen- Itza
~One of the 7 world wonders~ If you are staying in Tulum, Chichen- Itza is an easy 2 hour drive. We left our Air B and B at 7 am and arrived by 8:55 am.
*I would recommend arriving by 8:00 am because that is when doors open to the public and you will beat any of the tours that arrive afterwards.
Air B and B: Cachito De Cielo
*incredibly affordable under $50 USD per night*
I have no words to describe this place other than dreamy, perfect, adorable, and a home away from home. Every aspect of Cachito de Cielo was well thought out and designed with love. Tania and Roberto (the owners) made me feel like I was walking into my home.
Coco Tulum
*The Insta famous spot* Coco is one of the most aesthetically pleasing resort and beach club I have seen in Tulum, Mexico. I may be partial to the blues and white but if you’re looking for some blues and whites in your feed or just a gorgeous place to grab a happy hour drink, Coco Tulum is the spot.
Matcha Mama
*instagram destination-duh*
Matcha Mama is a small mom and pop shop down the main strip of Tulum by the beach. It is great for smoothies, bowls and coffee.
If you’re going during high season be prepared to wait about 20 minutes for your smoothie bowls.
I hope you have an amazing time in Tulum! If you have any questions you know where to find me. Shoot me a DM @christyleighbarre.
